Africa Wild Adventures GmbH
Daniel C. Hänni is the founder and managing director of Africa Wild Adventures GmbH. He is an anthropologist and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute Switzerland, which works to protect chimpanzees. It was the chimpanzees that brought him to Uganda. For several years he conducted the population census of our closest relatives in various forests in Uganda. He lives and works part time in Switzerland and in Uganda. In 2009 he founded a chimpanzee research station and an education centre for the children of the region. Since 2010, he has also been leading travel groups to Uganda to draw attention to the threat to the great apes and to familiarize travellers with the work in environmental protection.
Africa Wild Adventures offers you trips to various sub-Saharan African countries. Our core competence is in Uganda and Rwanda. With our office Lambula Wild Adventures Ltd. in Entebbe (Uganda) we are able to prepare and carry out your dream trip perfectly. Obtaining the necessary permits for mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking is also easy for us, as we can organize them for you on site.
When traveling to the neighbouring countries of Tanzania and Kenya, as well as Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, we work with long-term partners.
